Hello guys! I don't know if any of you remember me. I used to wander around here quite a lot a few years ago. I tamed after some time, due to lack of news from the band. I was sick of waiting around without knowing when the album would come out, if it ever did come out one day ( Read more... )

For me, it unfolds a little more every time I listen to it. I really like the weird instrumental songs, to me notes and sounds are just as important and the singing and lyrics. Linde's guitar work reminds me of when I first found really good music years ago. Its up to the listener to interpret. He may have written the music for himself but they are easy for me to relate. It sounds more honest and complex than past stuff. It makes my hair stand on end and gives me a kick in the but to try harder with things in my life and that there is another gear to run in or another road to take and hopefully get there intact.

The experimental songs reminded me earlier of White Zombie and Soulfly and the oddball stuff they recorded. And then it takes of into a dreamy, otherworldly feeling.

The songs sound more raw and personal, they haven't been edited. I love the vibrato while he is singing! But take note, the whole album sounds much different from earbuds and few hundred watts designed for filling every detail. Sometimes the floor has to vibrate while no shoes on to get it, especially with that vocal range and the low tones of bass and the drums. :)

I cant comment on the physical album itself, the booklet, as it hasn't arrived yet and the same for the LPs(WHICHIAMJUMPINGOUTOFMYSKINFOR). The pictures I have seen, I love! But then I found out about Daniel's artwork a while before the album and loved his style. Its almost a whole other story in itself. Some of the lyrics are there which gives it a nice effect and he does sing clear enough we can hear what he says. If they were all written in there it would take a lot away from the artwork in my opinion. I do find that if I write down the lyrics and read them it has a more profound effect, like comparing a wall of vines to a wall of bricks. Listening its easy to get lost in and climb around vs. something that really hits you.

Into the Night is my favorite, it feels safe like when your sleeping and drift off into a pleasant dream of merry-go-rounds, warm hugs and not feeling alone. Leaves me with a silly smile.

4 days till I hear it live!
