Yep, it's definately one of the roadies, but I was really confused because he talked a bit with the waiting audience and he spoke German with an accent I couldn't quite place. Thanks so much!

Don't worry dear....you are not as old as me :) :) :)
And its funny but I have similar memories from back in the day of a summer festival here in Atlanta. We endured the rediculous humdity, the crappy opening acts, copius amounts of beer being spilled all over us, and even being goosed by random pervy guys just to hear HIM play two songs. Yea...the things we do for the love of music. :) :) :)

When I had known that they´re going to disappear for
2 ( in words TWO!!) years ...I would have tried all to get
to that festival...I´m living just 20 minutes away from Munich....

I so know that feeling...for me it's the same (well, almost) with the Secret Gig in Berlin...I mean, it's some 600 km, but I had vacation back then *head meets desk*
We must be strong and get over it...somehow...if you find a way how that works, tell me, because I haven't :)
