'Spin me around to blur the lines...'
I've finally completed a painting of Ville! :D It was my final for my painting class and I'm so proud of it. We were supposed to use (if I remember correctly) a Transformation Operational Technique. I chose one that was about hybridization, Jekyll and Hyde, and a polar opposite type of idea. So I chose a very feminine looking pic of Ville and made him into a Jesus-like figure with the halo around his head. Also I added a tarot-esque looking card in his hand with a pentagram on it. So it's meant to question any form of religion and it shows how they can contradict each other. Also a feminine looking man who is also very dark and punk looking as a Jesus or God like figure. And the yin and yang of the heartagram as well as the duality of Ville's lyrics made it fit even more.
All in all, I am proud of it. I am going to add more detail to it and more detail to the halo, but for now I'm done! I hope you guys enjoy it! :D and sorry, this is the best quality I have of it since I took the pic on my phone.
I've noticed something and decided to make a picspam about it as well as showing my painting. My painting actually brought it to my attention. Ville loves his tank tops. Especially black ones. :D Credit is not mine and it goes to whoever owns each of the pictures. :)
Here's my very first finished painting of Ville. I've been meaning to complete one for some time now but it has finally happened because of a class deadline lighting that fire under my butt. ;) O.o
