(no subject)
Alright, it is official. I have booked my ticket home from Fort Lauderdale, I’m definitely going on this cruise in April. Wow, a vacation that I haven’t really even began to plan for. I’m gonna be gone for like 10 days or something. Oh the excitement.
In other news, I’ve decided to dig myself out of debt. I have destroyed and canceled the majority of my credit cards and I am going to start little by little paying them ALL off. I’m super excited about this plan because slowly I feel like I’m really growing up. I’m making real changes in my life that are leading to me being less stressed out and having more time just for me. I’ve started cooking all the time. I make dinner at home every night and then I make lunch for both me and my brother Monday through Thursday. While I have yet to really see a difference in my checkbook, I feel better about having the time to really do for me and not everyone else.
The sun has been shining here in Northern VA for days. We had 80 degree weather over the weekend. I took some time to enjoy it by rolling down all the windows and driving around. Then by going to my parents new house and opening all the windows while I made dinner on Monday. While it has gone back to being in the 50’s and 60’s, it is still beautiful outside when the sun is shining.
This weekend is St. Patrick’s day. I had decided a couple of weeks ago to throw and small gathering at the apartment. So Friday night I am doing just that. I have to work on Friday so it’s probably just going to get thrown together at the last minute, but it should be fun. I mean Wendy will be there, so we will make it fun regardless of who else shows up.
All in all, things are good. I’ve been keeping busy and staying out of trouble. If I keep this up next thing I know is I’ll turn around and it will be summertime, whoo hoo.
