So, I thought I'd give a little more detail as to how my day went.
I woke up at 6-ish and showered and woke up my household. I had to get Charles to work at 8 and Chelsea to the RB by 8:10-ish. I almost made it, but the traffic was slow on University Parkway. Chelsea went and watched Brooke's Latin class and a ballet class and collected a ton of information on the dance program at BYU. We're all hoping that she will want to go to BYU, but she doesn't show any excitement to us. I do know that she was pretty excited about seeing the library the other day, since she told her friend all about it on the phone.
After the dance stuff, we came home and Chelsea finished packing and memorized her scripture for EFY. I checked my grades and then talked to Mom about graduation and how Chelsea was doing. Then, it was time to take Chelsea to EFY. Holy cow, it was packed. We had to park at the Bean Museum and then walk to DT to check her in, dragging her luggage. We got her checked in (the counselors tried to check me in as well, until they saw the wedding bands on my finger, lol.) and then took her stuff up to her room on the 7th floor of V hall. We got her in and made her bed and then she decided that she wanted some snacks for in her room, like her roommate had so I took her to Macey's to get snacks. I dropped her off, put some gas in the car and went home.
At home, I just sat and read for most of the afternoon. Talked to Mom again for a while. Read some more, and then went to pick up Charles from work. We ordered a 5 Buck Pizza for dinner to celebrate the fact that I'm done with classes, and ate it in the Tanner building (we wanted to eat outside, but it was too hot and we figured that the Tanner building would be deserted). We then went home and Charles showered after work. Karen Phair came over and invited us to go to the parade with them and to come to a barbecue at their house tomorrow afternoon. Once Charles was out of the shower, we walked down to the Freedom Fest for FHE. We looked at all the stands, listened to Peter Breinholt live, and shared a lemon-lime snowcone...I drank the syrup and Charles ate the ice.
There...that's my day. Hope you all enjoyed reading about it.
