Baby Shower
Today, I woke up insanely early...like, 6:00 this morning. I showered and got stuff ready for the babyshower. I made up the punch mix, cut up strawberries and made pancakes for Charles to eat for breakfast. Wrapped Danielle's present, and Charles helped me get everything to the car. We went and picked up Elisha and while we were heading to their job, the container of pizza sauce fell over and spilled. So, when we dropped them off, I got to stay for a moment and clean up the mess. I ran to Macey's and picked up some soda for the punch (lemon-lime and rasberry ginger ale...mmmm). Got to Brooke's and Isaac helped me bring in the stuff I brought. We finished setting everything up, made deviled eggs and baby pizza and punch. Then, we waited for Danielle to come. Brooke's house phone wasn't working, so we didn't know that Danielle was running late for a long time.
Danielle finally got there and we ate and talked for a long time. We played the diaper game and got some pretty good pictures of it. Danielle opened her gifts and they were adorable. I love baby things, they're so cute. After that, we just hung out and talked. Charles came home early from work, so he got some food and then went to go watch basketball in the lounge. Jon came about 2:00 and picked up the presents and Charles and they went to go play Risk at the Koberstein's house. All us girls stayed at Brooke's and watched movies/slept. I took Danielle home about 6:30-ish, I think, and picked up Charles. We put gas in the van (the price had gone up four cents since yesterday, which was weird) and came home.
At home, we talked about what we did that day. Tried to call about that house we had seen, but the space had already been picked up, which was really frustrating. After that, we watched Alias and I fell asleep.
