A new year

Happy New Year to those who have survived 2016. Believe people. Believe with all your hearts that it can only get better from here. No matter who's president in the US, or what country is against another country, or if where you live is not the best place in the world, just believe that it can only get better and refuse to believe otherwise. At least this way you can feel happy for the future.

On a more personal note, this is my last year of online College for my Bachelor's degree. O.o It's too Soon. I don't have connections. WHERE's MY PROMISED JOB!!! Breath. At least I have until September. I just got done with 3 months of character animation. I think I really want to work with MoCap. It's weird. I would rather spend time on the detail movements of a hand then try and figure out all the dynamics of a natural walk. Give me the MoCap for the walk and I'll adjust the finer movements for emphasis. But with three months of basically doing a walk, I think I finally have the basics starting to stay in the brain. Still haven't got the last grade on month three's project but passed the other two so far. If you have access to Tumblr, I actually put up the two final turn ins for the animation pieces. It's My Tumbler Blog. Go down to "My Class Animations".
I'm still leaning toward Compositing so I've been going back to my photoshop stuff and believe it or not, my 15 years at Navihel... err... Navitor has actually paid off a bit since I did a lot of this stuff there. It also makes me wish now that I paid more attention to blackmare when she would talk about her father's photography. Oh, the things I grew up around but totally ignored until years later when I wish I had paid attention. You know the usual things in life. Still, I am graduating this year whether or not I can make it to the actual campus to get my diploma or if I just get it in the mail, I don't know but it would be nice to walk across a stage.

Ok, that's it for this entry. Hopefully, I'll have more for the next. Until then...peace and out.
