Back to the land of the living

Hi, yeah, I know. I went AWOL for a few months on posting. Not that much was missed. Still getting good grades so still, have my scholarship to keep in school. I did get entered into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars so I'm back in an honor society. It's funny how much more you pay attention in school when you're paying for it (or will be paying for it). Motivation is still an issue with me since I'm kinda in a void here by myself while doing work. But I am finding out that rigging and Compositing are still the most fun out of the things I'm learning. I aced my rigging classes. 100 all the way, but it looks like I'm going to have to learn python scripting on my own if I really want to make it work. I haven't been in a programming class since the 90's and even then it was either Dbase or Lotus types of programming. I need to find me a kid's python programming book to get started in, I think. This next class, Project and Portfolio II: 3D animation, I'm not so sure about mainly because of how the instructor did the class for online. There are no GoToMeetings like all the other classes and I'm missing them already. It let me know there was a live person on the other end of my class. We have plenty of discussion things, but the GTmeetings really made it for me. Plus I could download the archive later and it would be pertinent to what I was doing now, not what was done 3 months ago when the "welcome" videos were made. I feel like there's a gap between me and the instructor in this class where there hasn't been in the others. Oh well, need to get through this and make it to my next class. As much as I don't want the learning to end, next year is my final year and it's make or break time. I guess I also need to post some of the things I'm doing in class as well, get in the habit of just posting stuff, period.
Anyway, that's it for now. If anyone is still reading these things, thank you. If not, well, guess this is practice to keep posting something even if it's not important.
Cio.
