first group project
well, im working on my first group project. the end result of the project is to give a ten minute group speech to the whole class about something that interests us, seeing as we're all film students, and, seeing as how holloween is this weekend, i came up with the idea of comparing the trends between thriller movies 40 years ago, and thrillers now, and the fear factor of what scares people today, compared to what used to scare people.
on tuesday, the proposal for our idea is due to our teacher, and if we hand in just a sheet of paper, then we just get an average, or, an 80, well, obviously, none of us wanted an 80, so i was talking to the group about what we could do, and we came up with this idea. To get a higher grade, our teacher has this thing called a "Wow" factor...you have to impress her.
We're going to get a strip of tanned leather(the sleak kind, that looks kinda like human skin) and take a sodering iron, and burn our proposal into the leather, like something a serial killer would do, and then spatter it with some fake blood and use some black and red paint or caulk or something to stick it to either burned metal, or old wood.
so i think my wow factor is pretty freakin sweet. i cant wait to get into the REAL fun things.
