Gathering of Girlfriends
I have arranged the seemingly impossible. Tomorrow night, me and five of my best girlfriends are going to sit down to a nice dinner at Romano's Macaroni Grill and have a few drinks and enjoy each other's company. I'm not sure when the last time more than three of us got together, so this is going to be a real treat. I will have much fun and frivolity to report on Monday, I suspect!
Had to take GiGi back to the vet today. Her seasonal allergies are apparently kicking into full swing. What with the weather being winter one day and summer the next. I was up at 5:15 this morning, giving her a bath to try and ease some of her suffering. Dr. Brown saw her at 11:30 this morning and gave her a shot and another 21-day round of a different antibiotic. He told me if I really, REALLY loved my dog, I would move to Alaska. I guess I just don't love her quite enough. He is honest enough to admit to me that this problem will never be solved. It can only be held in abeyance for brief periods of time. He is a huge Carolina Panthers fan, attends all their games, and I'm sure I will have funded him a nice box seat by the time GiGi is an old lady. Oh, well, it's just money and hopefully we will make some more next week.
