More on roadtrip
I talked to my sister this morning and she has located a condo for us for a week in Sedona (May 26th to June 2nd)! She and Homey Cheeze are members of RCI and they have enough points earned from previous vacations that it will not cost us a thing to stay at this place: http://www.sedonapines.com/
I'm pretty sure Paula will come along with us knowing that we will be staying somewhere nice and not doing that "car & coffee" thing (bed & breakfast for poor people!)
So that is out of the way...now I can focus on our two or three days in New Orleans on the way out to AZ. If any of you, my LJ friends, have any ideas on good places to stay or sights not to be missed, please share them with me. I have never been to NOLA, always wanted to go, even after Katrina and the unholy mess that was NOLA in the aftermath, I always wanted to see some of the incredible French-influenced architecture, hear some New Orleans jazz and eat some real Cajun food!
