One word for the week plus the weekend that I had
WOW!
Here is how crazy....
-Got lost in Nixa, MO. Apparently, Mapquest gives the worst directions known to man.
-Almost missed my brothers wrestling match, but got there just in time.
-Had a storm...like the storm of all storms...come through our neighborhood. My brother and I had to get in the crawlspace clinging to each other because we were so scared. Because of hail, my car looks like crap...think Swiss Cheese.
-Drove 4 hours yesterday to see my dad, but it was worth it because he might be coming home.
-Almost had a matress fly off the top of our Ford Explorer. My mom and I pulled over on I-44 three times to make sure it wouldn't fly away. Let's just say going 40 mph on the Interstate is really embarassing.
-I carried a twin mattress, box springs and 27" TV up the stairs all by myself and only have a few bruises and a sore cut on my finger.
-Drove all the way to my apartment, unpacked, only to repack and go to my mom's because of the horrible storms that came through Missouri the past few days and I was too scared to stay in my apartment all by myself.
Add in a lot of stress, a lot of drama, a few fights with the old boyfriend and lack of sleep and that is where I stand.
Partially I feel alright though, I mean I am going through all of this with my family and for my family. I swear I wouldn't be able to put up with all of it if it were somebody else. Me and mom just want Dad to get back to his normal self and get home from the hospital. Sometimes it is just too hard to see someone like that and to be that uncomfortable and miserable and there isn't much you can do about it. I think that is why mom is so stressed out because some days she feels like she should be doing more...oh my gosh...i can't beleive all of the things that woman does for her husband and the rest of the family. I am really lucky to have such a great family and would go to the ends of the earth and back if I knew it would make them happy. I am tired and cranky and look like I have been beaten with a bat...missed my final and most likely will fail it...but at least it is for my family and in the end it really isn't that bad.
