The opposite of "you look like __"

Today coming up from the subway on the UWS a twenty-something Asian guy stopped me and asked "what part of the world are you from?"
"Pittsburgh."
"Like, the Steelers Pittsburgh?"
"Uh-huh."
"Well, your features. They .... um, they, well. I've never seen anything like them."
"..."
"I had to stop you because I thought I'd never see anything like them again."
"I'm German and Polish so I don't know what to tell you."

This bizarre conversation went on for another few minutes but the above was definitely, at least for me anyway, the most noteworthy part. People have said lots of things to me before; last week someone on the subway asked if I spoke Russian. And people have asked about my ethnicity a fair amount but I've never had someone act as if I'm something really unique. Blue eyes, reddish brown hair, freckles, roundish face - last time I checked that didn't add up to even unusual.
