Beginning and the end
With summer the spring season end. Today I checked the ending by a few anime I was following.
Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge 13#
The beginning was WTF and a bit perverted for that graphic, but by the second episode I thought this might be the anime of the season - a horror type. Tools that are called killing goods, and damn their users to have murder spirits use their bodies. They need to find a partner, that can calm their killer instincts.
I could overlook most of the bad part, but one. Between two episodes sometimes they just cut the story and jump to a new. I have no patience to guess what they wanted with that.
Hataraku Maou-sama! 13#
The fun type of the season. As they wanted to go on with some rpg next to a devil living in modern day Tokyo without super-powers it got a bit flat by the end. And turned into a harem for a horned wrestler... T_T
Uta no Prince-sama 13#
Neoromance is a type where you have no surprises. It's the girl, more and more handsome guys, who all want her, but will not act on it (much). In UtaPri they solved the issue with the strict rule that they can not fall in love or they need to stop singing.
As one could easily guess, UtaPri wins with 2000% Love, their wish is that Heaven should not disband, and in the end the whole concert hall sings Maji de 1000% Love. So calculable... and that's the good part of this type of story.
Still, I like the Drama CD - where they actually act on their feelings, have dates, etc - a bit more. It is more romantic to have a happy ending by one pair that you root for, then to have a neutral one.
