I got totally nostalgic for Slow Dance. This might be my all time favourite jdrama. And totally underrated, after my knowledge.
Isaki was the teacher of Riichi in the past. Now they meet again, and their roles get changed, as Riichi gets to be her driving instructor. Isaki is not able to use a break in her life, while Riichi applies it constantly.
After they met they begin to root for the others success in work and relationship. I find it particularly adorable, how the two characters do not even realize how much they rely on the other. Like... if something major happened they call each other, trying to casually meet, without realizing they are actually in some kind of dating dance.
I think this was the first drama where I saw Tsumabuki Satoshi (Riichi), and fell completely for his charms. He is not a handsome guy per say, but that is okay, cause it just doesn't matter. He is a great actor, and when he smiles I automatically feel happy too. (Might be laughable but I got totally crazy when I saw him in Fast & Furious 3. And he just threw a cigarette away, and said "Yokoso"... Whaaa =^.^=)
First time watching Fukatsu Eri (Isaki) too. While I could never agree with her cloth-selection, the character is adorable.
Don't care too much for the secondary pairing, but that might be just me. I just don't see any love by it.
Specially love Riichi's character. He sees the world different, more wise, and maybe that's why he can keep up with Isaki. The drama can really make you feel the fluffy-happy feeling you get by a relationship. At last it always puts a smile on my face.
