Rise of the Guardians

We watched yesterday Rise of the Guardians with friends. The basic is that a few creatures (like Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny) protect the children of the world from the Bogeyman.

This movie is actually good enough to take it more under the loop.

DreamWorks is great with the animation. That's nothing new. And though I don't have the ability to see it, if someone can, try to watch it in 3D.

The title... actually the English title makes me think of a Marvel comic or something. And the Hungarian actually spoils the story somewhat with "The 5 legends", since at the beginning we see the loner Jack Frost, and on the other side Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy and Sandman. Even a kid can easily guess what will be the end. ~~"
Luckily I didn't have the time to think about that and just sat in to enjoy the movie.

Characters are mostly good, and just like with How to train your Dragon there was a part of bitterness and drama next to the fun, which made it more real.
My problem with Jack. He is there in the world for 3 hundred years. And still he is so easily swayed.

Though the story is of the simple kind, it does have it's possibilities. Even I thought to have some story written how Jack meets the others for the first time.
