Poll Vampires part II
Thank You for all the replies in the last poll! Your answers gave me some great inspiration!!! For example, I was quite surprised how high % the "anywhere is good, as long as it doesn't let the sunshine in" answer got.
And - this is not questioning any of Your thoughts, but for me - it was quite strange that many of You thought that vampires live on blood only. You know if you think about that, that IS strange. I mean blood has a really low food value, so if just one vampire wants to eat, he should suck 10-20 humans dry one night. No human population could hold one...
At the anime-meet we talked about this too, and I agreed with one of my friends that vampires should maybe hunt next to drinking blood. You know maybe have a deer-pray, and eat it's heart and liver, to get more food into it's system... Maybe the fault lies within my thoughts, but I just can't image a "life-form" that has only one type of sustenance with such a low value.
If we think about blood as a type of energy, that's another way to see it, but that wouldn't control the numbers of vampires enough for my taste.
