2009 spring anime review
Phantom ~ Requiem for the Phantom
The anime is made after the visual novel game Phantom of Inferno. The story - in my eyes - seems to be a mix of assassin anime stories:
Azuma Reiji goes to America on a trip, and becomes witness of a murder. The killer was one by Inferno, an assassin organization. Taking away his memories with drugs and hypnose he gets put under a test: kill or you will be killed. He performs surprisingly well, and becomes Zwei, the second assasin created by Scythe Master.
Now together with Ein - who has such a skill that she got the code name Phantom - he eliminates people.
Don't really know what to think of it. First of all, I'm still holding by what I wrote by the promo review, that this seems like a mix of Noir and Crying Freeman. Am I the only one who thinks that? And anyway, what is with assassin stories always having memory loss in it?
The intro was good. I liked how he was showed moving as a puppet. But the song in the intro and the scenes there... was it only me who thought it's some hint to christianity, or do I see too much in a cross?

What to say? They play basketball with mechas. Some of the characters made me remember Lagaan, but that can be just me again.
Senjou no Valkyria
It is set in a fictional version of Europe, in 1935. Because of its abundance of ragnite ore, which can be refined into a powerful fuel, the neutral nation of Gallia comes under attack from the East Europan Imperial Alliance, which is itself engaged in a war with the Atlantic Federation.
Short again: girls with guns and bigger guns. The only interesting part was, that in the intro the main guy & girl seem like a pair already. The bad parts: not interested in a little town's idea of 'war', not to talk about what the PTA would say about the children holding guns, and taking hostages. ~.~"
Slap-up Party ~ Arad Senki ~
A group fought against a demon years ago. But by killing it the demons in this world only became more. Now, 13 years later a young man travells with a spirit, and an arm, that will slowly change him into a demon too.
I think it's worth a shoot, and... the chara with the guns make me remember Sanji from One Piece. ^^ Oh, and LOL for the ending! The anime is made after a game, and in the ending the characters are showed like in a game. XD
Gokujou!! Mecha Mote Iinchou
This... this... please don't make me write about it! It's full CG - like Platonic Chain, only more childish... and the topic (T___T): girl wanting to get into a club where cuteness is asked, but she is a gal. The class-president wants to help her.
The 2009 spring animes, that are new seasons of older ones:

- Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S
- Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu - KITAAAAAA!!!! ^________^
Dragon Ball Kai - Who~hooooo!!!! ^_________________^
There is not much to talk about, if one knows the Dragon Ball Z anime. The group meets again after years, and get the greatest surprise of all as someone breaks into the party: Raditz.
