2017 summer season: Mahoujin Guru Guru (2017)
Even though this anime is a re-make of an original that ran between October 1994 till September 1995, I wanted to create a separete post for it, and don't hide it by sequels... because this story is great!
Basic story is that the hero Nike, together with the witch Kukuri - who can use the mysterious Guru Guru magic - go on a journey. You would say that's basic rpg. Here however every part of rpg is made fun of in one way or another. Nike is a hero who doesn't want to leave home, and is forcefully sent on an adventure by his parents. Kukuri, though really knows Guru Guru magic has a really bad memory, so whenever she summons something - if she even remembers a spell - she probably summons something that only hurts them both. The graphic supports the story and the jokes excellently.
This series is awesome. If you haven't seen the original, check it out, cause it's def. worth your time.
