Hm? What's all this about Louyang? I seem to have gotten lost in my research again.

Can anyone tell me anything about whether or not Louyang has alchemists? I have some very old books that mention them, and I'd like to see what kind of advances they've made in the years since then.
And here I was told I was a fool for keeping those books. Legends, my behind.

I've made some interesting advances in my research, and have prepared a report. The black powder has come along quite nicely, and paired with some of the designs I've been given access to by the Schwarzwaldern government, I think I'm close to making a real breakthrough. I've enlisted the aid of some local smiths, out of my own pocket of course, and hopefully all of us together will have some better news for you soon.
