Geffen. I don't particularly want to go.

I have trouble sleeping under normal circumstances, anyway, so the anxiety isn't much helping.

Um, if I may ask, why don't you want to go to Geffen? I have not been there myself-- is it a bad place?

I've never been there either.

But it's in Rune-Midgard, and I've never been anywhere other than Juno or Einbroch before.

Oh, then you shouldn't worry! If it's anything like here, it's a nice and peaceful place.

Also, there's magic users there! You could talk about the different way Sages and Wizards use magic!

What does Rune-Midgard generally think of foreigners? I'm afraid I'm rather obvious as one.

Unfortunately, I'm going to be around Blacksmiths all weekend.

We're pretty open about them, I think. Some people may be curious, but they'll welcome you with open arms.

Blacksmiths? Oh my. Maybe there's some way you could learn something from their elemental weapon forging techneques?
Or maybe not... but at least you'll have a Black Book to pass the time, right?

I also worry that I won't easily understand people, and vice versa. My written Common is excellent, but there is far less opportunity to practice it spoken, here.

Perhaps. I tend not to involve myself in social situations like this anymore than need be.
