Radio violence

Well, I've been a bit quiet lately on here. So what have I been up to?

There was a Whitby, which was pretty damn amazing, and involved lots of drinking, lots of dancing, assorted silliness, a significant amount of cheese (of the dairy and 80s varieties) and general good times.

Then I came back and started a new job. I'm still working for PACEY (formerly NCMA) but now as Assistant Digital Executive, which is a fancy title for 'web monkey'. Basically my job is writing for social media and our professional community website, as well as maintaining the site and dealing with user support queries and bug reports. It's all pretty good fun if very hectic at times.

And then I had a birthday. Oh man, did I have a birthday. A birthday of epic proportions, requiring costume changes. A steampunk gig/immersive theatre thing on Friday, followed by Memepunks, Red Sun Revival and Voltaire on Saturday - which led into an amazing, boozy afterparty that we finally got home from at about 6am on Sunday morning. I was meant to be going to a rock gig with d_floorlandmine on Sunday night, but opted for sleeping instead. Then Monday we dressed up as Edwardian explorers and went off and costume-bombed the Egyptian galleries at the British Museum with a bunch of like-minded reprobates. Oh and then last night was musical comedy at Distraction Club. I think I can definitely say I had a good birthday 'weekend'.

Today I've been blogging about the Queen's Speech and the risks of Vitamin D deficiency.

So how are you lot?
