Hmm... I might as well app this one too. I forgot I could just filter posts, so I can use this journal for other RPs as well, and nothing should interfere with this one.
First part was just copy/pasted from my Buguese app.

Character you'd like to play and the series they're from: Kaname Ougi of Code Geass/Code Geass R2
Use three words to describe your character's personality: Unconfident, devoted, caring
Describe what their special powers/talents are: He’s really just an average human, without many special qualities. He has piloted Knightmare Frames, a type of robot, but generally stays off the battlefield, acting as a commander. However, he’s good at keeping people and things in order during hard times.
Provide a brief bio of your character's canon history (keep as spoiler-free as possible, please): When he was younger, Ougi was friends with a boy named Naoto, and his little sister Kallen. He got a job as a teacher, and seemed to live a happy life. Unfortunately, he was Japanese, and thus when the nation of Britannia conquered Japan, everything changed. Japan was renamed Area 11, and its inhabitants were now referred to as “Elevens.”
To combat this oppression, Naoto formed a resistance, which committed acts of terrorism against Britannia. Unfortunately, he was eventually killed. Though he was uncertain of his abilities as a leader, Ougi took over as a favor to his friend. They still had poor results, until meeting a mysterious man named Zero, who helped lead them to small victories. Ougi agreed to follow him, believing that though Zero was a Britannian, he wanted the defeat of Britannia just as much as the rest of them. His resistance became known as the Order of the Black Knights, and later, many others joined.
While a member of the Black Knights, he still had some doubts of Zero’s intentions, and the desire to learn his true identity. He came across an enemy soldier who had been badly injured, and when he went to help her, she mumbled something about knowing who Zero was. He took her home and cared for her wounds, hoping to learn from her, only to find that the girl, purist soldier Villetta Nu, had amnesia and couldn’t even remember her own name. The two fell in love, until Villetta regained her memories and shot him, angry over the fact that she was with an Eleven. Ougi survives this, and though he doesn't see Villetta (or Chigusa, as he was used to calling her) again for over a year, he still holds feelings for her.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say you're in your...mid-to-late twenties?

Yes. I'm 27 now.
