Cats, and why they are horrid creatures and I will never have another
My chest hurts and my heart is racing. It is also 3.30am and I am wide awake. Why? Because of my stupid bloody cat. GRRRRR!!! My bed is currently situated beneath a window that I keep open because I sleep better with fresh (if getting a little cold this time of year) air circulating. The cat uses this window to come and go as she pleases, although typically walks along the windowsill and then out. Not tonight, Tonight she takes it into her head to jump down onto my chest from said windowsill and across the bed, then back up (again landing fair on my solar plexus) and out again within about 3 seconds. I was in a sound sleep, and this quite naturally scared the crap out of me. Talk about a rude awakening. I am determining that once Col moves, I am asking that he moves into a place that can have animals so he can take the bloody thing, since he is the one that suggested getting it for Rachelle. Suggested - emotional blackmail more like it as he had already told Rachelle she could have the cat before asking me. Was very impressed with that particular idea - not!
