Grrr... again...

What really gets me heated is when little girls and boys go around saying things like "God is dead" and "Jesus is a cunt" as though it were some new and remarkably profound statement. When in actuality, they came to this conclusion only from reading a T-shirt in Hot Topic. Yet when I throw out a well known existentialist name such as "Nietzsche" ( Read more... )

I totally agree.
Though I haven't witnessed people bastardizing nihilism and existentialism I figured it would happen eventually because our world seems to be in a perpetual state of bastardization of everything worthwhile as of late. There are very few genuine people anymore. No one is well read. They just latch on to the image of being well read by adhiring to the most recognizable phrase or whatever of a great thinker or prominent figure that they don't even recognize.
Haha I remember my first philosophy class in college. We got to Nietzsche and I was the only one with Nietzschean views (what with reading up on Nietzsche a year and a half or two prior to that class) and I had to violently argue with the rest of the class (most of which agreed with the retarded dualists and Christian philosophers). Everyone thought I was an asshole. hahaha.

I'm grateful that there are people like you out there that actually bother to open a book. Thank you for existing and hating morons. Wanna get married? hahahaha

People read ONE SENTENCE of a book, (or even worse, Sparknotes) or they get one idea from it... but they take nothing with them of the actual material. They don't really THINK about it. And it bothers me. And yes, we should get married. You can help me escape from boarding school.

Haha yeah... That is the sad truth. Intellectualism is dead. Skimming off the top to sound like you know something is in.

I can come flying into your boarding school action movie style and save you. I'll crash through a window and do some badass ninja shit and break you out of there and then as we're running away the building will randomly blow up and we'll do the badass slow motion dive foreward.
haha sorry... overactive imagination.

No way! It's exactly as I envisioned! With the flames right on our back. Haha, aren't you the guy that had a million and one entries about some pop star chick that likes nutella? Or am I thinking of someone else? If I am, then I apologize for the mix up but I could have sworn it was you.

Hahaha, well I'm glad I'm not the only one that saw it that way!

And yeah... yeah, that was me. I'm not proud of it. Sometimes I... ya know. I just get carried away. So I end up obsessed with French pop stars that eat Nutella. It was a dark period in my life... or something. I'm sorry for that. hahaha

Aww, it's okay. We can get you a step ladder or do a low five instead. Or I can give you a piggy-back ride and while you're up there we can high five.
I'm starting to think that maybe I should stop talking. I keep saying stupid things... like that. ARRRRRGH!
