What photo host site are you using? I use Photobucket and it doesn't use pop-ups to upload photos.

I'm refering to placing a photo within one's blog post and there is an icon for inserting a photo when one is creating a blog post and clicking that icon brings up a second window, or it would if my security settings would allow it, which it isn't.

Ah. I don't ever use the little icon because Photobucket will generate the code for you, so you don't have to do anything other than just drop the HTML code into your blog post. You upload your photos to Photobucket, click the little box under each photo for which you want to generate code, select "Generate code" from the drop down box, and then just cut and paste the code from the Photobucket page into your Blogger post. It's a little back and forth, but it works for me. *shrug*
