Ten Thousand Villages
I love this website. It makes the moral, world culture loving side of me giddy. It makes me want to decorate (which really says something because I'm not really a fan of decorating beyond "oh cute!"). Its fair trade, which delights me. How many more happy-feeling inducing words can I include?
Oh, you want to know what my current Top 5 TTV items I want?
1 - Palewa Owl Bookends
2 - Burnished Ceramic Vase (and yes there is a matching lamp!)
3 - Colorful Kaisa Storage Basket (I want this and the matching smaller basket for my childrens' room)
4 - Large Obeechi Bowl & Servers (this will make me eat salad daily)
5 - Stuffed Lion Shoulder Rest (perfect for those car seat naps!)
I've decided to get into mosiacs (that'd be a post that is in draft form), and this gave me the idea for my first project. Easy, functional and perty (I hope).
So, yeah...buy me things. :P
