Ok, maybe this video (starting at about 4:20) will clarify my idea from a few days ago (the one that Gen thought was about cartoon villains.) What I was trying to say was that even "non-religious" systems of good/bad are based on premises that might as well be called "religious". Case in point, human rights. Of course there are actual things called legal rights (in the US, I have the right to vote, the right to remain silent, etc) that exist in certain countries. Human rights, on the other hand, are completely made up. Did you know that the UN declaration of human rights includes the right to enjoy the arts? What does that even mean?
