Welcome back to the Livingston Legacy! Please ignore the mislabeled title picture. This is actually 5.0. There hasn't been an update in a while, but its finally here! Last time around the kids all grew up into teens or young adults and we had an heir poll. Ollie also had twin alien babies and both Ollie and Harper got engaged (not to each other).
Nyssa, you are the heir!
Nyssa: Yes!
Congratulations!
Nyssa: Wait...what am I the heir to?
The legacy of course!
Nyssa: What legacy?
*sigh* Moving on.
Before we start focusing on our oblivious heir, I've got to get the boys all set up and out of the house. So, I sent Harper and Justice on a date to the park.
And now they're married! Woo! *throws confetti* More importantly, I can kick out send Harper off to live with his new wife.
I built this nice house for them, and sent Tommy to live with them as well. He was pretty much just in the way anyhow. Sorry bud.
Back at the main legacy lot, the rest of the family gets a new house too! I've been saving up for a while now just so that I could build a nice new house for Nyssa. I think it turned out very well, I'm quite pleased!
Ollie: Hey Nyssa, could Savannah move in with us?
Nyssa: Sure, sure, do what you want.
Ollie: Yay!
Yeah, Ollie is staying for a bit longer, just until the twins become kiddos.
One quick marriage in the dark later, Savannah moves in too.
Savannah takes to her job as step-mommy quite well.
Savannah: Well, aren't you a hungry little alien baby.
Gideon as a child. Yes, I missed them aging up. Sorry. He's a bookworm who wants to be an artistic prodigy.
And here's Gwendolyn, who's a glutton and has the social butterfly aspiration. Since the twins are kids now, its time to say goodbye to Ollie & co.
Now that all that's out of the way, we can get back to what's going on with the main family. Marjorie's favourite pastime is playing chess.
Marj: Checkmate! I win again!
You have no opponent.
Marj: Details, details.
Marjorie also got promoted to Labratory Leader. She's at level 7 now!
It's Nyssa's birthday, and Lachlan's entertaining everyone with his jokes. Well, sort of.
Ollie: *is unamused*
Gideon: How scandalous!
I don't really want to know what type of jokes Lachlan is telling.
Wow, I actually have pictures of the party for once!
Time to become a young adult Nyssa.
Welcome to your new life of work, bills, and responsibility!
Nyssa: I think I'm going to regret this.
Nyssa got the trait family-oriented, which is added to her previous traits outgoing and music lover. Her aspiration is still to become a musical genius of course.
The party's still going strong!
Nyssa: So, I guess I'm a young adult now. Pretty cool, huh?
Celia: Enjoy it while you can, its pretty much down hill from here.
Nyssa: Greeaaat.
One of Nyssa's first young adult actions was to get a job in the entertainer career as a c-lister. She's following in her dad's footsteps.
She's already got pretty high level guitar skill so she moved up in her career pretty fast.
Nyssa went out to the park to play for tips, and I used the opportunity to scope out potential mates. There was nobody. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Everyone was a teen, an adult, or just really awful looking.
So, I gave up on the search and borrowed a boy from my sister's legacy. Nyssa of course went over to welcome him to the neighbourhood. Even though he lives on the other side of town.
Presenting Nyssa's future husband - Dimitri McQueen!
They hit it off super well. They were friends within a couple of minutes. Didn't get much further than that though, as Nyssa needed to head home.
The house seems some empty with just the three of them. On the bright side though, its a lot easier to manage three sims.
That cowplant that Harper found grew up. Spoiler alert: It doesn't last long.
Nyssa loves to dance, I think its because she's a music lover. She also enjoys just listening to the music.
Lachlan completed his aspiration! That's my second sim in this legacy to do so, and I'm very excited! I feel like I'm actually getting pretty good at managing my sims.
Lachlan got promoted to Stand Up Star, and although he hadn't topped his career I had him retire. He was getting really close to the end of his life so I figured he wouldn't have been able to top the career anyway. I seriously regret the decision though, because it left him with nothing to do.
Meanwhile, Marj maxed her cooking skill. Roast chicken for everyone!
Marj: I know, I'm amazing!
Dead cowplant is dead.
I expanded the house more. I think this will be as big as it gets this generation. I've got enough space for all the skilling stuff we need and enough rooms for the amount of kids I'm planning for this generation, so I'd like to focus on just saving up my money now.
Dimitri dropped by for a visit.
Nyssa took the opportunity to make her move and got her first kiss.
She also asked him out on a date and Dimitri became her boyfriend.
Dimitri also moved in. He's a good genius who loves the outdoors and wants to be a renaissance sim.
Marjorie bonds with her daughter's new boyfriend over chess. She really didn't like Dimitri at first, you should have seen the stink eyes she was giving him xD
A little woohoo to celebrate moving in together.
Nyssa: Will you marry me?
Dimitri: I've only known you for a couple days, but, why not?
Nys is super happy Dimitri said yes.
Nyssa and Dimitri actually get to have a proper wedding.
Despite there being rows of perfectly good chairs, all the guests decided to just stand around awkwardly to watch the wedding.
Meet the new Mr. and Mrs. Livingston!
Dimitri: Hmmm...this cake smells good.
Sebastian: Yay! Cake!
I wish they had a better cake cutting interaction, but you do get to see them feed each other invisible cake.
Don't look so happy on your wedding day guys. *sarcasm*
Ollie: You stole my outfit Harper!
Harper: Well, I wore it better.
It seems I accidentally gave Harper and Ollie the same formal wear without realizing it. Oops.
I made part of the new addition into an activity room where Nys can practive her intruments. The upstairs part it a computer room/mini-library.
Next update Nys and Dimitri go on a honeymoon to granite falls, because I don't go to granite falls enough.
Thanks for reading guys! My updates have been a bit farther apart lately because its been the last month of school and I've been busy with final projects and exams. School and exams are over this week though and then its summer. So, updates should pick up a bit more. Though, that really depends on how busy my summer ends up being. So we'll have to see. I have another Livingston update lined up next, and then I might do another BACC update. I'm not really sure.
