Livingston Legacy 4.4

Jun 04, 2015 09:17

Hello, and welcome back to the Livingston Legacy! We're almost to the heir poll and I'm super excited - I made it through half a legacy! I honestly didn't think I'd make it this far, since I often have a short attention span for these sort of things. Anyway, after this update, I'm hoping to roll out another Livingston update right away. It will be short, and basically just wrap things up for this gen. Then, we'll have an heir poll.

We start this chapter off with a guy at Marj's work dying. How cheerful.

While her coworkers mourn the loss of their friend, Marj is decidedly unconcerned.
Marj: He was old, its not like this wasn't expected.

And then two more of her coworkers died. Marj continued to not care, and was pretty much the only one that got any work done that day because everyone else was crying.

The kitchen got an upgrade.

And suddenly, its Nyssa's birthday.

Nyssa turned out very well, she seems to be a pretty nice mix of her parents.
She's outgoing, a music lover, and wants to be a musical genius. Something that actually makes sense for once.

Nyssa: There's too many boys in this house.
I know sweetie, you and your mother are vastly outnumbered.

Being as Nyssa wants to be a musical genius, I figure I might as well get her started on skilling.
Nyssa: That did not sound right.
She's still got a lot to do before she reaches her aspiration.

Lachlan and Marjorie aren't going to be around forever, so I've started the kids on learning to cook. Harper does the most cooking of the kids though.

Tommy: Quickly Chompy, we must destroy the city before my subjects can revolt!

Tommy: Yay! Everyone's dead! No democracy for you!
Though it often doesn't seem like it, Tommy's evil.

Harper's still got his garden going. Though it is often neglected in favour of homework and caring for his needs.

Harper: Say hello to thunder and lightning!

Lachlan: I don't want to be a responsible adult who has to work to take care of his family.
Little late for that realization bud.

It's a miracle! Ollie actually caught a fish!
Ollie: Look at the cute little fishie!

I just can't get over the nice views in this game.

So, I may have forgotten Lachlan's birthday. Oops.

Harper: Go little strawberry bush! Grow into a better plant! You can do this!
Harper's been evolving his plants, and selling a lot better produce. Always a good thing considering it gives us more money.

Nyssa's good friends with all her siblings, probably because she's outgoing.

Marj still loves Lachlan very much, even in his old age.

And Harper still loves Justice very much.

Nyssa's old chess buddy Sebastian visited. I was thinking he could be a potential spouse, but I don't really like how he turned out.

I guess Grim likes fishing. Who knew.

Great job Ollie, ignore me when I tell you to go to the bathroom and sit outside on a bench doing extra credit while you're about ready to pee yourself. You would fail terribly if this were an ISBI.

Marj: Well this is pleasant.
I think its time to get another trash bin.

Ollie and Savannah went out on a date and the first thing they both did was pull out their phones. Typical.
Ollie: #selfie
Savannah: Oh my goodness, I'm out on a date! I have to tell all mt friends.

That's much better.

They're so adorable.

They end the date with a little dancing. Savannah is a much better dancer than Ollie. No surprise there.

Chess is serious business.

Ollie caught an Angelfish. He's actually gotten pretty good at fishing. He even caught a couple salmon worth around 100 simoleons each.

Hip bump!

The house got another reno so all the kids have their own room now. There's also no windows because I ran out of money xD

Why are you in Ollie's room?
Lachlan: Just freshening up.
Don't you have your own mirror for that.
Lachlan: My mirror has been taken over by mirror bugs from an alternate dimension and the exterminator hasn't gotten here yet. You can't expect me to use my mirror!
Okkaaayyy...whatever you say Lach.

Tommy got invited over to Celia's.

Meanwhile I sent the older kids to the park.

Ollie: Another Angelfish? I already caught one of these!

I wanted Nyssa to meet some boys, but there weren't any. So, she ran around taking out the trash instead. I'm pretty sure the park has people to do that hon, you can relax.

Harper started chowing down on hot dogs made my Marj during our last visit to the park, that are some how still good.
Harper: Did you say last time we went to the park?

I got a stereo and dancing is Ollie's new favourite thing. He still isn't any good though.

Marj: Great job honey!
Nyssa: Mom, please leave me to play in peace. There's a reason my back is turned to you.

This is Ollie's Angelfish, Killer Frost.

Marj invented a cloning machine!

And she was promoted to Ufologist for all her hard work.

I missed it, but Ollie became a young adult.

Post-Makeover. He's sad becaue I forgot to throw him a party.
He's now an insane, hot-headed, geek, with the angling ace aspiration.

Those are just fantastic places to do home work guys! The bathroom floor and the driveway! *sarcasm*

Nyssa's the only one with any brains.

Now that he's an adult, I got Ollie a job in the Tech Guru career. I figured it suited his geek trait, and there wasn't anything that would compliment his aspiration anyway.

So now he spends even more time on the computer than before.

Ending on a happy note, Lachlan got promoted to Roast Master!

That's all for now. As I said before, I'll be breaking the little pattern I had going on and there will be another Livingston update next so we can get to the heir poll. I have the pictures already, just need to finish editing them and post. Also, just out of curiousity, who is everyone's favourite kid so far this generation? If the heir poll was now who do you think you'd vote for? And, who's been your favourite Livingston ever? Who's been your favourite Livingston spouse so far?
