Second opinion?
Dilemma: There is a course in Southend which promises to be a beginners guide to displaying clothing in museums. It sounds very good, but strictly speaking it has nothing to do with my current job. I have already been allowed to do another course on dress history, which will include a day off to attend and expenses to be paid. Should I push my luck and ask to be allowed to do both? Or should I just take a days leave and pay for the second course myself (it is only £5, plus travel)?
