Ma igazán jó napom van! / I have really a nice day!
Hogy miért is? Reggel minden úgy indult, ahogy szokott egy közönséges munkanapon. Semmi különös nem történt, egészen addig, míg el nem olvastam az leveleimet . Képzeljétek, hogy kaptam egy e-mail-t, amelyben arról tájékoztattak, hogy az Eastern Media Con2-n, amit 2008. október 3. és 5. között a New Jersey-beli Elizabeth-ben tartottak, nemcsak hogy levetítették néhány videómat, de még a közönség szavazatai alapján díjakat is nyertem! Nem is tudtam az egészről mostanáig! Az egésznek az előzménye annyi volt, hogy a vidding közösségi oldalon flamingoslim írt egy bejegyzést még tavaly szeptemben, hogy lesz ez a már említett találkozó és várják a videókat. Többen között én is hozzászóltam, megadtam neki a honlapom címét és csak annyit fűztem hozzá, hogy ha bármelyik videó megtetszik neki, nyugodtan használja fel a videó bemutatón. Nem is írt vissza, így azt hittem, nem nyerte meg a tetszését egyik munkám sem. Hát tévedtem ezek szerint.
El nem tudom mondani, mennyire meglepődtem és természetesen nagyon örülök ennek a nem mindennapi elismerésnek, büszke vagyok és teljesen fel vagyok dobva! És a levél küldője - Glow - rendkívül kedvesen megírta, hogy mennyire tetszett a résztvevőknek "Az antarktiszi csata" és a "Here Without You" és még az "Ébredés" is. "Az antarktiszi csata" két díjat is kapott: "Best Dramatic Vid" - azaz legjobb drámai videó - valamint "Best Technically Made Vid" - azaz technikailag a legjobban elkészített videó kategóriákban. A "Here Without You" pedig a "Best Romantic Vid" díjat nyerte el. Juhé!!! Még most is alig hiszem el.

" vagyis röviden, szeretné, ha a videók készítői részére rögzíthetné a reakciókat, hogy milyen is egy helyiség tele emberekkel, akik megtapsolják a videókat és odavannak értük.
Why? It was an ordinary working day, everything started in the morning as usual. Nothing special happened , until I've read my e-mails. I got a mail, in which I was informed, that on the Eastern Media Con, (Elizabeth, New Jersey) in October 2008, some vids of mine were not only showed before audience, but also won awards according to members' votes! I didn't know about this until now! The premise of it was just a short post in the vidding community in last September by flamingoslim about this con, that it was waiting for vids. I posted shortly the link of my website telling her she could use the vids if she liked any. Then I haven't got any further answer, so I thought, OK, she just didn't like the vids. I was wrong.
OMG! I cannot tell you, how I am surprised and naturally I'm so happy with this not everyday appreciation, I'm proud of it and I'm totally gleeful! And the sender of this mail, Glow wrote me very kindly, how folks loved " The Battle of Antarctica" and "Here Without You" and also "Awakening". The "Battle at Antarctica" actually won awards in two catergories: Best Dramatic Vid, and Best Technically Made Vid. "Here Without You" also won an award as one of the Best Romantic Vids. Yay! I hardly believe it!
Here is the kindest part of this letter (for me): "I wish sometimes that I could tape the reactions of the crowd for the vidders, because I know how solitary vidding is. You do it all alone and don't have much feedback. But please know that a room FILLED with folks were applauding and sighing and loving your vid! " *very, very happy smile on her face*
