After Camlann Merlin Big Bang: Art for "Crave the Brush of Spring" written by elissastillstands
Is anybody out there? *waves* I'm still here!
I've signed up for this year's After Camlann Merlin Big Bang as an artist! As I’m a vidder in the first place, I always look for a story I’m able to make a video for, but this year it so happened again that all the available summaries of the stories were posted for claiming were so unique that I realized there is no chance to make a video for any of them.
I was hesitating for a while before claiming elissastillstands' story, because it's incredibly long - 112,651 words! - and I was afraid that I would not be able to read the whole thing before I would do anything in time. She was very helpful, first she sent me a shorter summary, then excepts of the story with parts I was interested in the most and the whole story, too. It was her idea to make a movie poster for this story. I’ve never done anything like this before, so it was a challenge anyway! I've also made a title banner and a set of dividers as section brakes for the story.
"Crave th Brush of Spring" is an awesome AU story, it begins after King Uther's death. Everything happens differently and the focus of the story is on Gwen's character and perspective.
I want to say thank you for my author elissastillstands for the amazing AU story which inspired me to make this poster. I'm also grateful for her ideas and for giving me positive feedbacks on my drafts from first to last. These helped me a lot.
Thank you also goes to my old friend, galadriel34 for helping me out as a beta. She always does. I'm grateful forever to my elder daughter Eszter for helping me as a Photoshop expert. Thank you so much, ladies! ♥
