So people have been asking me about Winnipeg Folk Festival and I haven't had a real update in a while.
Well, the truth of the matter is, I had a blast in Winnipeg. The music was great. The atmosphere was amazing. And I blew a ton of money without feeling the least bit bad.
But, alas, it is just one of those great experiences that would be cheapened if put to words. So if you really want to know what Winnipeg Folk Festival is like, I encourage you to go next year.
In other news, the Hot Singles is going well; lots of fun now, we got a nice mixer and we are recording - I'll let you know when the recordings are online. I need to write a paper on Things Fall Apart before Wednesday 11:59pm CST. Then that damn history class is over finally at the start of August. I still have no apartment set up in Barcelona, though I still have many prospects. And getting some hours at the Gelato Shop next week I hope. Nothing too exciting. The Hot Singles endeavor is probably my most exciting happening currently. Whether that says good things about the Hot Singles or bad things about my life is unknown at the moment.
EDIT: I FUCKING LOVE CANADA. I was prompted by Steph (DAMMIT) to search youtube for degrassi episodes which have kept me up an extra 2 hours or so. Anyway, I just watched the season finale and they played Stars at the end! I LOVE CANADA. I love that song. I love Stars. I love Canada.
Also, while I was in Canada, I bought a cool Canada hat. Expect to see me wearing it out and about. Probably at Hot Singles shows and stuff, y'know.
