Elegy to a Metric Pin

Every now and then I need a kickstart or some trip to make fall flat on my face into a new land o' indie. I've had people like Christy and Chris (what a pattern) and then, when some dick stole my favorite Metric pin from Sarah's house, I started looking on eBay for indie pins to replace it. And then I look down the list at all these band's pins whose existence I had neglected to notice, and I'm listening to iTunes and torrents of like British Sea Power and Feist (who misses Feist?) and uh now my indie power level is 500000 Goku
