Well, heavens! Calm and reasonable? Fingon is the epitome of both, what are you saying?

But he does come striding out, eventually, wearing his sword again. After having tried Tyelko's door - again - and finding it locked - again.

This is really not helping.

He might notice that the Edain man he knows is out executing a complex and graceful kata.

Well, he's not stopping to watch. Heading for the cliffs, to kick around some more wreckage and try to sort out his thoughts.

That's too bad. The not saying thank you, the other day? It's enough for Niko to not want to interrupt himself to go after him.

He might be there when Fingon returns, though, probably relaxing with a book.

He does come back, eventually. But might only be hesitating slightly before starting back inside to - yes - try the door again.

He stops.

"Good evening." Tersely. But not angry at him, at least! Just...everyone else.

One eyebrow. "You look like someone stole your dessert."

"Not exactly." A frown, and he decides that news is important. "Tyelkormo is back."

"Ah, I see. How was his vacation spot?"

A glare. "I have had enough flippancy for today, thank you." Acidly.

"Sheesh, your Majesty, no need to get on your high horses." He stands, though, and puts the book away.

"What's eating at you?"

"--Artanis has locked me out and refuses to allow me to speak to him." Irritably. And everyone seems mad at me.

"The disadvantage of having a mind-reader around. My girlfriend was like that."

Note how unsurprised he is.

Frowning. "You don't seem surprised."

A pause. "And I need to talk to him."
