Something new... Something old....
I'm getting really bad at updating my LJ, so I'll make it a priority to update more than once a month. However, my exuse is that I've been quite busy.
I've been frantically finishing up my portfolio pieces and financial aid for an art school which i've been admitted into. I'll be starting in April. I'm quite thrilled since I'll be graduating in less than 2 yrs than the expect 4 yrs with my credits transferred over from my previous college. Since I've actually allocated 4 years for school because I've though about doing a new major, I've decided to take the Intertacive Media & Design degree, then follow it up with and Interior Design degree. Both degrees which I can do in the 4 yrs time span AND are practical degrees in which I actaully make a very well off decent living in Orange County.
With lady luck on my side, I've been offered a very lucurative job offer from one of my current clients. If she gets her initial funding from her investors, I'm jumping ship here and go work for her. I can actaully, work, go to school and play all the same time while getting twice of what i get now and less the stress load! In her words, its ther perfect dream job since she knew I was going back to school for the degree that actually applies to her. I will also have the option of being in a partnership with her and become VP of Design and Technology, but that up for negoations, i don't want to jinx myself, but I'm quite thrilled the opportunity. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything works out and that she gets the funding, otherwise, I'm stuck here till hell freezes over.
I'm glad that my health is finally getting stablized. So there's another reason for me to be quite content there too. But, I'll still need montior my self and really get back to the gym after a 3 month hiatus.
For the most part, I'm content, but I've recently gotten know someone pretty well and I'm afriad that I'm falling for her. But, I'll just enjoy the ride and see where things lead if it goes anywhere.
So yah.. been quite busy... BUT I haven't forgotten all the things that were on my plate before. My animation project is on hold until i get the proper funding and manpower to really do a great job. And ALI and G! FONDUE!... enuff said...
Though I know I haven't be able to do much .. its tiring when your litterally out on your own and try to ween family off of you, but sometimes, you just have to do what you have to do. And this is what I have to do.
