5 guilty pleasures:
1) Heavy Metal - I always find myself listening to some of my favorite metal bands (Iced Earth, Amorphis, etc.) and just escaping into that whole "I can take on the world" mentality. It's soothing and helps me to stay confident about things because the lyrics remind me that I'm not alone with my thoughts and feelings...it's become an intrinsic part of me, one that I really don't think can be replaced by any other kind of hobby.
2) Reading - I love reading....it helps to inspire my mind and open me up to new possibilities. I've developed a lot of wisdom and insight thanks to the wide array of literature I've immersed myself in....it's much the same as music, but it touches on a different part of me....music fills my soul with fire and reminds me that I'm alive...but reading helps my soul to change and to grow.
3) Gaming - Video games may have fallen by the wayside somewhat over the past few years but it still remains a big part of my free time. It fulfills a lot of the same desires in me as reading, since it helps me to develop myself as a person based on the experiences I have whenever I carry on the role of a video game character. Aside from just being an entertaining pastime, video games help me to escape the confines of reality and to assume a different role, something totally different than my usual, mundane life. They just help me tap into a part of myself that I can't find in daily life, alone.
4) Certain Foods - Of course, everyone eats food but I'm quite obsessed with the following restaurants: O'Charley's, Waffle House, and Gold Star Chili....I could easily live off food from any of these three places. I am in the mood for them anytime, all the time, and ever how often I can get it....these are like the Holy Grail of restaurants and are easily my top picks for food choices.
5) Women - I make it no secret that I have an eye for the ladies, but my heart belongs only to one lady....Chelse, you're the center of my heart and you're the apple of my eye. We've been together two years and it's been great for me. I love you!!!!
