Miles was listless, gaze flickering across Dan's face. "He knew if he came back here, he would die. But --"
He paused, fingers twitching in some invisible symphony.
"-- he was happy, to finally … let go."
Miles squeezed his eyes shut and swallowed.
"Then it's just the same name, over and over."
"Whose name?" Sawyer was frustrated, desperate for answers.
The other man shot him a reproachful look, angry on Dan's behalf.
"Who do you think?"
A heavy sigh, from Juliet, the whisper carrying her words.
"Charlotte."
I hope you finally get some peace, Dan.
