Yeah, I know, unbelievable.
Anyway, sorry for all but disappearing on you guys lately. See, what happened is, while I was in the States, one of my friends gave me the first four seasons of Supernatural, a show I most definitely had heard about and knew I'd like, but which I'd resisted getting drawn into because A) there was a heck of a lot to catch up on & B) I knew it wouldn't be pretty if I got sucked into it. And guess what? Yep, I was right on both counts. Not that I'm not glad I've been swallowed whole by a new show, but it's the reason why I've completely vanished.
I started watching and the further I got, the faster it went. Until last Friday I sat down when I got home from work and started to watch more episodes. I was between the middle and end of season 4 and guess what? Yep, I didn't stop until I'd completely caught up... at 7:30 Saturday morning. Yeah, that's me high on a new show and since then I've hardly gotten any writing done because, well, frankly, there's a hell of a lot of fic and vids out there to enjoy. I've not been in bed before 1 am all week because of it all.
But don't worry, I'm not gonna jump ship, no urges to write either Dean or Cas fan fic whatsoever and I'm thinking it might be one of my read!fic only fandoms. God, I really hope so, 'cause besides a few crossovers, I'm not sure I could handle any more to be honest.
But, back to this ficlet. When I originally signed up for the challenge and realized that Don/Robin WAS considered a rare pairing (could have blown me over easily), I was all set to write them. Then the prompts went up and this little scene bit the Muse and wouldn't let go. Since I had a lot of fic to write this month and it was a short idea, plus something a little new and different, I decided to run with it. I'm not sure I quite like the way it turned out, though, I'm kinda indifferent about the whole piece, actually.
Regardless, please let me know what you think.

I was wondering where you'd vanished to and was about to send some bunnies on a hunt to find you.
Now that I know where you were I'm glad to hear you're not planning on jumping ship. Although the occasional crossover could be good, we need more Don v Dean.
Cheers!

It's why I avoided this one for so very long, though I caved pretty damn quickly when presented with the opportunity to see the whole series in order.
Yes, more Don v. Dean or just Don & Dean would be nice. But I can't think of that now. NaNo starts at midnight tonight and while I had a great original idea all planned out, now one of my vampire original ideas is clammoring for attention so I need to choose. Oh, and finish the ficlet for the Don/Robin comm and the prequel to Destination Nightmare not to mention the last to chapters of IaMD!
*whimpers*

Oh, and don't forget the one with 'L'. You've kinda left me hanging here...

I was getting worried a bit and when I saw this fic I just breathed out this huuuge sigh of relief *sorry if that sounds stalkerish :)*
And heh, you are soo sucked into it, and might have sucked me right along with it, I watched the first episode... It was not too bad *whimper*

Hehe, let me know if you really do get sucked all the way in :D

As for the next month, starting tomorrow, I won't be watching a lot of tv anyways due to NaNo & my fairly insane college schedule ;)
If in December I still have the desire to try not to cringe when seeing JP and JA, I will look into it further :P
