Nice... Nice... Nice...

Loved the graphic imagery and how you manage to pack such action into such few words, amazing... :)

Thanks. It's actually kinda fun to just get straight to the whumpy bit and leave out all the rest. Though this thing got rewritten quite a bit. For my WriYe goal, I keep track of all the words written and there 77 that were written and then cut in the editing and rewrites. Not so much to make the word goal, that just need a trimming of 3 words, but just in getting it to what I wanted it.

Writing Year.

A spin-off of NaNo. It was originally called National Novel Writing Year. I signed on for a goal of 300,000 words this year.

Ah... :)

Wow, 300k, that is a lot... Muchos impressos :P

I am thinking about doing just a series of connected one- shots for NaNo, which might work better for me than doing on continuous fic...

Hmm, not sure that's technically allowed, but I saw go for it. No one sees it as you can swap letters before sending it in for verification at the end.

I'm at 211,778 as of yesterday. Hopefully it'll go up nicely today.

Swap letters??? Sorry, I'm a bit inquisitive today ;)

*grin*

You can have Word replace all of the 'e's 'a's and 't's with 'x's if you want before you send it off. To make it illegible.

Why would I try to make it illegible???

*feels stupid*

It's more for people who don't want their novel leaking out. With fan fic, it's not so much of an issue. But if you're gonna do it slightly differently from the way it should be done, you might wanna do it anyway.

Oh God, I'm so confused...

Okay, so if I do it as one- shots and each one- shot is a chapter and they are connected in the way that they will be part of the Odyssey- 'verse, would that work?

It's called National Novel Writing Month, so you're technically supposed to write one novel, not multiple one-shots. But if you call them all chapters, then I guess it could work.

Sorry if I'm getting on your nerves with all that pestering ;)
