Looks like I've got the drabble bug along with the vignette bug at the moment! Between that and the fact that I signed up for 300,000 words in 2009 over at WriYe, means that I may try and do a lot of the Numb3rs100 weekly prompts from now on.

Anyway, as for this particular one, I'm not sure where the scene came from, but probably from a mixture of Charlie's inability to recognize danger half the time (and him getting absorbed by his math) and Don's protective streak.

SCORE!

Ahem. Yes, that would be lovely, thank you.

It's always great to see someone come to us as a drabble newbie and watch their fic skills grow. You've really developed a nice drabble voice and this is a perfectly compact story told in a tiny package. Well done!

It really does fold in Charlie's cluelessness, the fears of parents and Don's early protective streak: all very canon.

Good job!

Yowzers! That was exciting! Really dramatic and packed a punch for it's length. And so Charlie and Don, very in character for both of them. Nicely done!

Thanks, as I said I'm not sure where it came from. I was thinking Don due to strength and Charlie managed to worm his way in.
