Sigh...
So yesterday was freshman move-in day. I was up at 6:30am, because I had to be somewhere at 7am. That's when the fun began...I directed people to their residence hall until about 10:50am, when I passed out on the student center couch. Then I got dinner, did some freshman orientation stuff all day, and finally got to bed around midnight. I was EXHAUSTED, but I got to talk to Jennifer last night right before I went to bed, so that was fun. This morrning started at 8:20am with breakfast...then I worked like mad to put the finishing touches on the scavenger hunt. The entire day up until 2:15pm (when the scavenger hunt started) was super-super stressful. Even during the scavenger hunt, things were stressful because there were a few problems that people had to call me about. But it felt great afterwards, because it was finally over, and I will no longer be stressed out about any of that stuff. Dinner was really great tonight. I feel like my PAL group is bonding wonderfully!! Then we went to this really great diversity session thing...the speaker was AMAZING!! I missed the chocolate fountain, though, b/c my dad drove here today and he was helping me move around the stuff in my room and unpack my car. He brought my fridge/TV/printer, and some other stuff, but he forgot my tennis bag...so I am without tennis shoes and without my good rackets until he can mail that to me =( Oh well. It was really awesome having him here to move in the stuff from my car...we did it in like 30 minutes or so. Now it's up to me to get everything put away and organized, and I WILL do that soon...because I will go crazy if my room is a mess when it comes time to start class. Well, it's time for me to get some sleep now, because I am EXHAUSTED. Fortunately, tomorrow's schedule requires very little of the PALs, so we'll have tons of free time. I think I'm going to Whit's in ATL tomorrow night, so that will be fun!! I'll have to nap lots during the day tomorrow though. Goodnight!!
