So, turns out you suddenly get really busy right after you get married!

I apologize for never updating, but I was procrastinating until I had at least a few pictures I could post, which took a while. But never fear! I've been making HP art the whole time I was gone, so here is a MASSIVE art update!

First up and most importantly, congratulations on the wedding, your photographs look superb! As a terminal bachelor I'm most envious of you, you both look so happy!

Loved the icons, great to look at (Emma Watson is one pretty girl) and I had various thoughts or questions as I went along. For example:

Huh? Oh dear, is that for if one of them dies or it doesn't turn out H/Hr in DH? :-(

I thought the 'time to be a big girl now' banner was clever (cute with the insets) ... love the 'jealousy' and 'rivals' ones ... but gosh, I was smiling a bit as I was scrolling down the screen, but when I saw the 'I HAS A PHOTOSHOP' icon I just burst out into (loud) laughter. So clever! It's really vexed me how they've so heavily modified Bonnie beyond all recognition (I think movie!logic - with Bonnie so far behind Emma in looks - supports a H/Hr ending).

The 'crappy manip' mightn't be the best, but it still worked, warmed the heart a bit ... made me hope to see it for real one day.

I've never used another person's icon before, but I've just GOT to use the 'I HAS A PHOTOSHOP' one, it's brilliant, a classic, and fits perfectly with some of my rants of a few weeks ago. I gather one should give 'credit' ... how exactly do I do this, please? LJ-icon novice speaking. Cheers!

Oh, there is just a tiny red sploch on the little heart at the bottom, not on Harry or Hermione. I just thought it added a little angst to the piece, made it a little Romeo&Juliet-esque.

Also, I'm glad you like the "i has a photoshop" icon. I thought that picture was ridiculous, and actually kind of insulting to Bonnie, who is managing to look pretty these days without photoshop. But anywho, when you set it as one of your userpics you just type "made by valeriehall343" in the box called "comments" by where you upload the picture.
