I have quite a few creative & talented friends. I have several musician friends that I see perform all the time - I'll actually go out of my way to go to their shows & be supportive. Now, I genuinely like their music, so it's no great sacrifice to me. I have another friend that's a comedian and I'll always go to his gigs, too. But then there are

That show just might be the exception if there are jazz hands involved.

Not jazz hands. Mostly, it's a 'conceptual' piece. I have a very comfortable recliner on an otherwise empty stage. I bring out a laptop with a wireless connection, and proceed to drink beers while putzing around on the net and playing a variety of games. From time to time I look out at the audience and hurl somewhat mumbled insults at them.

Also I scratch myself.

But I refuse to stoop to jazz hands.

I do find your new pics strangely spatially appropriate. Every time you respond to someone, it's as though you're physically addressing their post. It's unnerving, in a way.
