so when was nanowrimo?
Geocities recently announced that they're shutting down their site, which prompted me to go back and look at my old website. I found this horrific bit of writing I did in college (first 2 chapters) and Japan (last 4 chapters). I spent two nights reading through it. My assessment: the first two chapters kept me laughing cos they were chock full of all these inside jokes that I'd long since forgotten about (including the yaoi version of Mambo #5), but the actual flow of the story was wanting. I really got more into the actual story in the last 4 chapters, but I kept having to excuse myself to gag over all the angst and the sappiness.
So I'm thoroughly dissatisfied with the ending of the story. So what do I do? I've started writing Part 2, Chapter 7.
I need help.
Although, I must admit.. writing again feels good. It's like I've found a part of myself again. And I forgot how much I like the main char in this story. I need to finish Eriko's story...
Eventually, I'd like to clean up the entire thing so that the story can stand on its own. BUT, I will always keep the original version, which was full of all our old inside jokes.
