Happiness...? ¬.-
Am I the only one who's highly skeptical of this thing? I actually got an email from B&N online about this movie and dvd. It seems a bit ridiculous.
My first week of business school, I was presented with some information that in retrospect seems incredibly obvious, but at the time was really eye-opening to me. In no other country in the world does a country's people believe that a person's natural state is to be happy. In the US we have have this entire concept that if you aren't happy, then something must be wrong with you. We're supposed to be happy all the time. I mean, it's even in the Declaration of Indepence: ..."life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." People are not supposed to be happy all the time. The idea that we'e supposed to always be happy seems rather unhealthy to me.
Any ideas? comments?
