drabbles for nuzlocke

"A flash of red light at my bedside awoke me from my dream, I glanced over to see the little grass turtle that had evidently popped out of his Pokeball.
'Twig?'
He tilted his head to the side, and he looked at with those same big warm eyes that had influenced my decision earlier that day facing a wild Starly. Almost as if he was asking to come up onto the bed with me.
My mother had told me not to get attached it him, considering he belonged to the Professor in Sandgem, I told her that at almost 15, I was to old to be playing with Pokemon. Including this one.

But as I watched the little guy sleep, his chest puffing in and out, snoring, I really started to think I was going to miss him."

-------------------------

"No." I whispered in disbelieve as Nala's tackle missed, and the Shellos she was battling attacked.
How could I be so stupid?! Sure, Shellos is a water type, but it evolves into a half ground Pokemon. And as a result has several ground moves prior to actually evolving. Which garnered a super effective hit.
I scooped up Nala's limp body, attempting to hold back tears as I grabbed Lester's ball.
'Kill it.' I commanded as I called him out.
The Turtwig charged, hitting it with tackle.
I held my Shinx closer, willing her to be okay.
Then felt her heart beating.
Only one thought went through my mind as I recalled Lester and sprinted back toward the Pokecenter.

'Please don't leave me.'
--
'Well, it looks like you got her to us just in time. She's going to be fine.' the nurse told me.

It had never felt so good to smile."

FIN.

More drabbles as I get farther into it. :D

(I was so scared to lose her, 1HP, that stupid Shellos has Mud Slap, and like 2hp left, but then my tackle missed. Ugh.)
