the new way of bummin' it..
So I was walking on Juniper Street which is an alley way when all the sudden a car stops next to me and the guy inside says, "I'm from Jersey and I'm lost and my car is almost out of gas. Can you spare a few dollars for gas?". WHAT THE HELL??? Do I look like I'm made of money? I can barely support myself let alone give some lost guy some money for gas.
So of course I said no and then he went on to say, "Everyone I keep asking says no..". Well... not my problem is it? Next time write down directions or save a few hundred dollars to get a GPS system and some money for gas.
So instead of smelly homeless people asking me for change I now get ghetto people in their ghetto cars asking me for dollars. What is the world coming to?
I might be very negative and cynical but how would you have dealt with that kind of situation?
I mean, if he asked for directions I'd be more than happy to help because after all he did say he was lost.
