Do you think it's reasonable to lose 50 pounds within five months time? That's like 10 pounds a month.. That's good, right?

I want to be able to look good in photos/dresses by January.

Look! It's my apartment! And it's up for rent! http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/

Haha, no, our bed isn't squeaky. They're at work during the day anyway, so we have plenty of time alone for...that sort of thing. I did catch his dad doing the laundry naked from down the hall, but THANK GOD I didn't have my glasses on! Hahaha.

The money just went where most money goes - to things like bills and food. His parents are not paying for us, of course, and we still have our cell phones, insurance, a storage unit, prescriptions, etc. We had some big expenses as well, but we needed to take care of them to make sure we'd be able to be on our feet. We mostly had my financial aide, which wasn't much at all, I think the most we had at one time was about $2,500-$3,000. Michael needed a break from life, basically, and I couldn't find a job out here, or get to it if I had found one.

I'll be getting $5,400 this Fall, so that will be a huge help, and $7,100 for the Spring. We're moving back into Houston (his parents live in a suburb) into the area we previously lived in if we can, or somewhere nearby. Houston has some great neighborhoods, there's a lot of personality here. And I don't mind the questions!

Good thing you didn't have your glasses on!!! Man, that would of scarred you for life!!

Ah right. School is usually good with giving refund checks back. You think, "YAY!! I have all this cash!!" but then you have to think of when you have to pay it back.. :( I got a total of $3k from my school but I have to pay it back soon-ish.

Where is your school at again? I remember you've been going for a few years but I wasn't sure where your school is located. Is it in Houston?

Yeah, I'm just going to Houston Community College, it's a lot cheaper than university. Almost $5,000 of my aide this year is in grants, which is nice. I haven't racked up too much in loans yet.
